With over 250 employees Rhenus Automotive in Meerane/Zwickau organizes the whole logistics prozess starting with goods receipts up to shipping since 2020 for Volkswagen Zwickau. We also care about the entry and exit of GLT's and SLT's as well as empty container handling and repackaging of different goods in three different projects for Volkswagen in totally 65.000 m² storage space overall. Two of the projects are located at Meerane. The third project is located at Zwickau. Our setup with fast - charging capability for WA JIT - shuttle transports supports the whole goods handling process.
For the First Tier SMP-Meerane Rhenus Automotive in Meerane organizes the whole logistics process, starting with inbound and storage up to picking goods. We are JIS - picking according to planned sequences of 13 interieurmodules.
